BUCS is the most competitive of university competitions in the UK. As my role of performance director for athletics at Cardiff Met, this is one of our most important weekends of the year. I also have the added interest in some the distance runners, for both Cardiff Met and Cardiff University. Some of the guys are regulars to training and others sometimes link in with the group. Overall, a pleasing set of results in this early season event, with personal bests. Looking forward to the rest of the summer for these guys and then building on this for next year.
